Court adjourns cases against Wale and Medikal to Jan. 25

The cases involving Charles Nii Armah Mensah who popularly known as Shatta Wale and Samuel Frimpong also called Medikal been adjourned to January 25 by the Accra Circuit Court 4 after their lawyers pleaded with the court to do so.

Shatta’s lawyer Jerry Avenorgbo is reported to have appealed to the trial judge to adjourn the date in order for him to attend some programmes outside the country during the festive season.

On the part of Medikal, his lawyer Pobbi Banson, lawyer for Medikal, also pleaded to the court to adjourn proceedings to January 25, 2022, to also enable Medikal embark on trips to perform at events during the Christmas festivities.

Shatta has been charged with publication of false news after allegedly faking a gun attack on the life of the artiste Monday evening.

whereas Medikal was also charged for for allegedly brandishing a gun on social media.
