Fuel station owner arrested over Mankessim police killing

The Central Regional Police CID has arrested one Isaac Eshun also known as Nana Nyeiku VII, the owner of Zen Filling Station where suspected shot and killed a police officer  G/L/Cpl. Kingsley Boahene of Mankesim District.

Crime scene investigation conducted by the Regional CID with its Crime Scene Management Team working in conjunction with Crime Scene Management Team from the CID Headquarters reportedly found out that the spent cartridges retrieved from the murder scene are suspected to have been fired from the shotgun and pistol belonging to the fuel station.

The deceased who was found in a supine position in a pool of blood was wearing blue shorts with a white top.

Efforts are underway to arrest a second suspect to assist with the investigation.
