QUATA PUTS GHANA ON 2018 GRAMMY LIST

Jacob Nana Kwame Etroo, popularly known as Quata Budukusu, a Ghanaian rapper with exceptional prowess in rap, reggae and tongue twisting has been selected for the 2018 Grammy Awards for nomination. Quata, with his versatile nature in the music industry in Ghana recently released a ground breaking 13 track album ‘Quantum Riddim’, becoming the only Ghanaian to release such tunes.
He has been selected as the second Ghanaian for the Reggae Album category for the 2018 Grammy with radio personality and Reggae artist Blakk Rasta.




Fans of the versatile Ghanaian artist, Quata, took to social media to congratulate him for being considered for the World’s Prestigious entertainment award in the world.
Quata, is managed by a New York based Jamaican label, VP Records, whose outstanding contribution in Raggae and dance hall is worthwhile.
Meanwhile, the second phase of the selection is based on the Academy to review list of nominees before each selected member is voted for.
On the album ‘Quantum Riddim’ are songs such as Motivate Yourself, I Don’t Need a Hero, Pum Pum Shots, Be Free, Sweetest Melody, Heaven In Your Eyes among others.
