Rangers next manager: Giovanni van Bronckhorst discusses taking over at Ibrox

GIOVANNI VAN BROCKHORST insists he is focussed on Feyenoord but has not ruled out managing Rangers in the future.
The Dutchman is among the names being linked with the vacant Rangers job, having played at Ibrox for three seasons.

He has been in charge of Feyenoord since May 2015, winning the Dutch title last season.

But, talking ahead of his match with Manchester City, he admitted Rangers are a club in his heart and he could return one day.

“I’m fully focussed at Feyenoord and I will be focussing on Feyenoord for the next years,” he said.
“I had a great time in Scotland with Rangers. I think one of the best times I had abroad but at the moment for me all that counts is Feyenoord.

“You can never tell in the future, because it’s still a club who is also in my heart.”

Rangers remain without a manager since the sacking of Pedro Caixinha last month.

Graeme Murty has overseen three matches – two wins and a defeat – with Derek McInnes the favourite to take over.

However West Brom are considering a move for the Aberdeen boss after sacking Tony Pulis.
