Mr. Kingsley Oppong is a graduate of Takoradi Polytechnic and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He is an astute businessman and an Entrepreneur. He has been an Entrepreneur in all his life. Starting from being a shoe shine boy, kerosene seller at a tender age of ten (10) years. The art of entrepreneurship was impacted to him by his grandmother who introduces him to petty trading whiles he was young. Since he comes from a peasant home and life in the past was difficult, he used to sell food stuff and crops grown by the grandparents to enable them provide for the house. Especially buying of meat and housekeeping money. These little acts aroused his interest and desire to do business. So whiles in secondary school, he took to the sale of pamphlets and motivational books to support his upkeep. His desire for knowledge and passion for business is beyond measure. He has been privileged to work in a number of companies both local and global cooperation’s. This widened his scope of perception and developed his management skills to be able to run his own business. After some year of experience as a banker, Accountant, IT personal, Administrator and a Marketer, he took to run his own business. And for the past five years, he has been running his own business in Accra, the capital city of Ghana.

He is the owner of three companies and President of Arc of Hope Foundation a motivational and HR Consultancy Company. The companies are: Wofat K. Ventures, Hlk Global Enterprise, and LML Real Estate Consult.
The journey to entrepreneurship has not been rosy. He has had both success and failures in his quest to build the dream he aspires. To him entrepreneurship is a calling and dream in motion. His greatest desire is to share his experience and provide professional advice to all young men and women who aspire to own and manage their business. Entrepreneurship is the modern form of business globally and the earlier you get onboard the better it will be. In this modern world, the duty of government is not to operate business but to create the enabling environment for people (private sector) to open and create jobs. Jobs, jobs, jobs, are the headic of every government especially the developing countries like Ghana where about 85% of tertiary students who graduate annually do not get jobs after graduation. The number of unemployment keeps on soaring daily to the extent that now we have unemployment graduate association. This menace must stop and can be reduced drastically only through entrepreneurship. Many of these graduates are also not employable; they do not have the requisite demands to be employed by business owners. In addition most of them also lack the courage and the knowledge to start and operate their own business as well, due to their mental orientation. Mostly, our education system is structured to train young people to be employed not to create their own business. Changing such a mindset is not daily job, it is a gradually process. But it must start from somewhere. My hope is that it starts from you. I wish you the best in your quest to create and operate your own business.
