Shatta, Tiwa Savage, Davido, others headline 2017 Ghana meets Naija

Empire Entertainment, organisers of the annual ‘Ghana Meets Naija’ concert on Tuesday, May 2 unveiled Artistes billed for this year’s edition of ‘Ghana meets Naija’ which is slated for Saturday May 27 at 7pm at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Artistes from Ghana includes dancehall king Shatta Wale and M.anifest. Representing Naija is Davido, Falz and Tiwa Savage who were made known at a press launch organized at the Kokomlemle Corporate offices of uniBank, sponsors of this year’s event.
Also performing on the night is award-winning DJ, DJ Vyrusky, DJ Nii Ayi Tagoe, DJ Lord with support from Nigerian counterpart DJ OB.
Addressing the gathering, Laillah Crystal Banda, a representative from Empire Entertainment said this year’s edition of Ghana Meets Naija is dubbed “Conquer, command and control”.
She promised a memorable event, adding that fans will get the opportunity to vote for their favorite Artistes to sit on the throne by texting Shatta Wale to SMV,OBO for Davido, Man for M.anifest and Fal for Falz to short code 1736
“Every year we talk about the genesis Ghana meets Naija, we celebrate the products of two great nations, two great sister countries. This year’s rendition rides the concept synonymous with the recently ended elections. Candidates from various parties were vying for the presidential seat so Empire borrows from that idea asking, ‘with this struggle of power, which artiste will sit on the seat of power?’ The idea also stems from the fact that for the past years, the conversation has been about one individual winning or even losing and even further, one nation winning or losing”.
Over the years, Ghana Meets Naija has seen massive patronage where artistes from Ghana and Nigeria share one big stage to thrill music lovers.
