I have built a 3-bedroom-house for myself – Patapaa Amisty brags

One corner hitmaker, Patapaa Amisty has revealed that his hustle has indeed paid off and that he has been able to put up a three-bedroom house for himself.

Patapaa Amisty got his breakthrough in 2017 with just one song “One Corner”. Indeed, it is obvious that God’s blesses, but miracles only happen to the prepared mind, and Patapaa’s miracle happened because he was prepared.

With over 16 demos recorded and no hit, the Swedru based artiste did not give up and went forth to record another. 16yrs of hustle underground wasn’t an easy journey and out of the bloom came popularity with a single he recorded dubbed ‘One Corner’.

In an interview with MzGee, Patapaa revealed that his hustle and hardwork with the help of God has paid off and it has helped him to build for himself a three-bedroom apartment at Swedru.




“In Accra, you would have to pay two or three year rent advance, I have been able to build a three-bedroom house in my hometown, Swedru. Very soon I will have a child and he/she must have an abode”, he said.

Patapaa also stated that his interview with Joy News that went viral after Ghana music awards helped boost his popularity across the continent.

“It helped me a lot, initially I didn’t want to grant any interviews but out of respect for Joy News, I did”, he added.

He revealed that he decided to record the diss song after what happened and it was triggered by anger.
