Patapaa confirms being involved in car accident; debunks knocking two people

One Corner’ hit maker Patapaa has debunked rumours that he knocked down two people with his brand new car.

News broke that the Swedru-based artiste had knocked the two unidentified persons with his brand new Corolla car on Monday afternoon at Opkonglo, near the University of Ghana.

According to the reports, no one was reported dead or severely hurt.




Reacting to the reports in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, Patapaa confirmed being involved in “a little accident” but claimed he did not hit anybody as it has been widely reported.

He explained that his brakes failed him which caused him to ram into another car, which was parked on the side of the road.

Patapaa said the incident happened while he and his manager, Mr Godfred, were returning from Abirem in the Eastern Region where he had gone to perform over the weekend.

Even though the ‘One Corner’ hitmaker said he had been spitting blood since the accident he also claimed no one sustained any injuries in the crash.

Patapaa however, fears the wrongly published information circulating on social media could negatively impact his music career.
