Lyrics of Ebony’s ‘sponsor’ song makes me uncomfortable – Feli Nuna

Felicia Nuna Tawiah, best known as Afrobeat singer Feli Nuna has said she is not comfortable with the lyrics of colleague artiste Ebony’s ‘sponsor’ song.

According to her, the song is potentially turning young women to follow the example of Ebony’s character in her video.




Feli stated in an interview:

“I always tell her that it’s her fan base, but I don’t believe in what she preaches. Music is powerful, you think you’re just having fun, just saying some things, but someone lives by your words. So, she knows that the sponsor song, I’m not very comfortable with it.”

She further noted that though the song does have some controversy surrounding it, there may be a positive line or two in the song. Ebony’s ‘Sponsor’ song although a hit on the airwaves, has drawn many mixed reactions from music fans across the country.
