Assin North by-polls: NPP confident of victory – Annoh-Dompreh

The Majority Chief Whip, Mr Frank Annoh-Dompreh, is confident about the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) securing a resounding victory in the upcoming by-election on June 27 in the Assin North constituency of the Central Region.

According to Mr Annoh-Dompreh, the seat, previously held by the NPP, will be reclaimed by the party after the election.

During a press briefing in Parliament on June 23, 2023, the Nsawam-Adoagyiri MP expressed his belief in the NPP’s triumph. He highlighted the party’s well-considered strategy and compared it to that of their opponents.

Mr Annoh-Dompreh referenced the previous election in Kumawu Constituency, where the outcome did not align with the opponents’ expectations, emphasising the importance of remaining mindful and guided by accurate polls.

He concluded by acknowledging the optimism of the opposing party regarding their chances but assured that the NPP is moving forward with confidence and a strategic plan for success.
