Duffuor endorses USAG’s health advocacy project

Former finance minister Dr Kwabena Duffuor has pledged his support for the University Students Association of Ghana’s (USAG) medical outreach program to offer medical screening and engage in health advocacy for students.

The project is being executed in partnership with Ghana Communication Technology University, Ghana AIDS Commission, UNFPA, The Health Factor Foundation, LenzVision Optical Center & Patho-Suppressors Foundation dubbed, “USAG MOP”.

The USAG Medical Outreach Project is enthused by the theme: “The role of University Students in ending AIDS”.

The final phase of the project is set for Monday, 28th March 2022 on the campus of Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU).

The outreach has the principal objective of instilling a culture of health consciousness geared towards successful academic excellence among members of tertiary institutions across the country.

As part of preparations towards the final lap of the program, the USAG met Dr. Kwabena Duffour to update him on plans made s far.

According to the USAG, the astute political and entrepreneur was wowed by the medical project and promised the team his immense support and congratulated the USAGMOP team for their endeavors.
