GPL: Check Out the Statistics and Records of the Ghana Premier League as at Match week 5

The Ghana Premier League had some exciting and mouthwatering games this weekend. Records were set and broken this weekend as the various teams were in the quest to grab all three points.

WAFA have picked up their first win of the Ghana Premier League this season, in what was their 5th game. In their first four games, they played against; King Faisal, Hearts of Oak, Real Tamale United and Legon Cities.







Dreams FC’s Ali Huzaif has scored three goals in two league appearances against Bechem United. He scored two goals against Bechem United in the league last season. However, Dreams FC have failed to win a match after scoring the first goal three times in the Ghana Premier League this season (D1 L2). They lost 3-1 to Asante Kotoko, drew 3-3 to Accra Great Olympics and lost 3-1 to Bechem United.

Medeama SC have failed to score in seven of their last eight away league games.

Techiman Eleven Wonders have ended a run of four straight league games without a win this season after beating Elmina Sharks 3-1. Prior to this game, they had drawn 2 games and lost 2 games. They also scored their first goal this season.

They are the 17th Ghana Premier League team to record a win this season; only Hearts of Oak are without a win.
Asante Kotoko have kept four clean sheets in a row for the first time since February 2021. They have recorded 4 wins and 1 draw this season.
