Heavyweight boxer Harrison Nii Lartey banned 5 years by Ghana Boxing

The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) has banned Heavyweight boxer Richard Harrison Nii Lartey for misconduct and disrespect.

The Heavyweight boxer was banned last year for using forged authorization letter in the name of the GBA to fight against Fabio Wadley in the UK.

He illegally forged the letterhead of the GBA and signature of its Secretary General.

According to the release, Harrison’s 5 year ban does not only prevent him from fighting in Ghana and other countries but revoked his boxing license entirely.

Harrison on 3 occasion failed to appear before the Disciplinary and Arbitration Committee of the GBA without any reasons when he was invited.

According to reports from the GBA, Harrison did not represent Ghana in his current fight in Russia but fought under the flag of Tanzania.
