Philanthropist donate ppes to schools

A Philanthropist who is also a Medical Pharmacist, Mr. Clement Clinton Blay has distributed over 2,000 reusable nose masks to 8 Basic and Junior High Schools in Ellembelle district to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

About 1340 Basic students and 660 Junior High School students benefitted from Tuesday, 2, distribution package in the Western Region.

Mr. Clement Blay who donated the nose masks to the schools pledged his commitment to add more Personal Protective Equipments to all the students in Ellembelle district.

He appealed to parents and guardians to support the government in the enforcement of the use of PPE, especially, wearing of the nose and face masks and regular washing of hands with soap under running water by their children and wards at home.



Mr. Clement Blay again commented that school has been effective after reopening and level of compliance in regards to the Covid -19 Safety protocols is quite encouraging commending teachers for their supervision.

The health professioner therefore took the opportunity to appeal to other benevolent organizations to join the fight by donating more PPE to Ellembelle district.

Mr. Dotse Thomas kwame the headmaster for Nenzezor R/C primary told journalist Kaakyire Kwasi Afari that the students are will educated about the novel virus and are well living in a strict adherence to the safety protocols.

He thanked Mr. Clement Blay for the gusture of the donation and discribed it as timely response towards the fight against Covid-19 virus.

The headmaster for Akoto D/A Junior High School, Mr John Mark Mensah also commended the philanthropist for his effort of providing first hand protection for the upcoming future leaders in times of this covid era.
