NPP EXECUTIVES BLAMES JOSEPH BOAHEN AIDOO FOR PARTY’S FAILURE TO RETAIN AMENFI EAST SEAT.

The New Patriotic Party executives in the Wassa Amenfi East Constituency have blamed the Chief Executive Officer for Ghana Cocobod, hon Joseph Boahen Aidoo for the party’s failure to retain the Wassa Amenfi East parliamentary seat.

All seems not be well with the Amenfi East New Patriotic Party as factions and supporters pointing fingers at each other over ‘abismal performance’ after the just ended Parliamentary elections.

The NPP constituency Secretary, Issac Kwesi Ennim alleged that the conduct of the CEO in the constituency towards the party’s incumbent MP, hon Patrick Kwame Bogyarko Saime during the NPP parliamentary primaries affected the party’s chance of winning in the just-ended parliamentary election.

Speaking in a press conference organized by the party on Monday, the party secretary mentioned that, Boahen Aidoo immensely sponsored, endorsed and imposed his favorite candidature one Mr Edward Amoh-Aquah on the party and defeat the hard-working one term member of Parliament, Kwame Bogyarko Saime in the area.

According to Mr Isaac Kwesi Ennim, it’s high time hon Joseph Boahen Aidoo avoid the suppression and interference in the parliamentary primaries in Amenfi East and allow the delegate choose who they want to lead them.

He told a journalist, Nana Kwame Boah at the presser that, Wassa Amenfi East in the Western Region, is unable to point finger on one project or intervention the Country’s CEO of Ghana Cocobod has done in the constituency under his well resourcesd office.

The constituency secretary believes cocoa farmers in the Chief Executive Officer’s hometown, Wassa Afransie, Wassa Akropong and its environs were far better off under the John Mahama administration than during his time at the Ghana Cocobod.
