COVID-19=Hon. Martha Kwayie cut sod for construction of( 2) ultramodern mechanized borehole and a modern bridge in (3) communities

A groundbreaking has been taken place on May 6, 2020 by the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Juaboso, Hon. Martha Kwayie Manu to construct a concrete bridge at Yaagyem a suburb of Sefwi Juaboso district to save people’s lives from an old wooden bridge which has been a dead trap in the area.
Hon Martha Kwayie Manu said “The contract is set to be completed in three months because all the requisite materials are ready”. The Hon DCE earlier cut sod in two different communities, Nkyensen- korkor and Proso to provide ultramodern mechanized borehole near the market centers following the directives by the government to set up water supply in vulnerable communities for them.




She finally urged the people to mandatorally wear their nose or face masks, wash their hands frequently, use sanitizers more often and observe social & physical distancing by providing them with free nose masks.

Nana Yaagyem II , the chief of Yaagyem also expressed his joy over the intervention and assured DCE that they will do their possible best to help the contractor to finish the job.
