LIVESTREAMING: Ministry of Information press briefing on coronavirus

The Ministry of Information is holding another edition of its Minister’s Press Briefing to bring Ghanaians up to speed with the government of Ghana’s fight against the outbreak of coronavirus in the country.

Issues to be focused on are testing programmes initiated by government, concerns surrounding backlog cases, as well as other health concerns being affected by the COVID-19 response programme.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Health Service announced that Ghana’s Coronavirus case count has risen to 2,169 with 229 recoveries and a death toll of 18 as at Monday, May 5, 2020.



The update meant that Ghana has recorded 95 additional cases of COVID-19 since April 28, when the case count was at 2074.

The latest update comes from the results of 3,552 samples that were tested by the various testing centers across the country.
