WESTERN NORTH NDC CONSOLES ALL DIPLOMA TEACHERS IN THE REGION AND URGES THEM TO REMAIN RESOLUTE IN THEIR LINE OF DUTY

The entire NDC fraternity in the Western North region headed by Chairman Michael Aidoo wishes to use this medium to console all diploma teachers in the region. It is indeed heartbreaking and utmost disrespect and disregard to their person and profession considering the level of insults hurled at them by the Minister of Education, Hon Mathew Opoku Prempeh.

On Tuesday 4th February, 2020 on Kessben TV and radio, the Minister of Education described all Diploma holders in the teaching field as low level headed people who went to colleges with only four passes instead of six.

The Minister argues that due to their failures, they couldn’t make it to the universities and other tertiary institutions hence entering the colleges of education.

The NDC finds this comment reckless and irresponsible on the part of the ill informed minister who does nothing rather than to insult. He is noted for notoriety in comment and spilling of garbages at the least chance he gets.



It is of no surprise that this same minister charged students to ease themselves in polyethylene bags if no toilet is available.

The NDC as posited earlier is with the teachers and believe they have the right qualification and training to be able to teach our children to pass any kind of exam.
