Blind prisoner Peter Ennin released after Christian Atsu pays his fine

Peter Ennin, a visually impaired prisoner, who had been jailed over a crime yet to be known was released after Christian Atsu paid his fine. Crime Check TV reports that Ghana’s prisons are not disability-friendly and the burden of keeping such inmates falls on the Prison Service despite having limited resources to cater for them. In a post on social media, Crime Check TV, disclosed: ”Blind prisoner, Peter Ennin released after Christian Atsu pays his fine. We don’t have disability-friendly facilities in our prisons, so the burden of keeping such inmates falls on the Prison Service that have limited resources.
