I know all those who voted for me – Toni Aubynn

Medeama Board chairman Dr Toni Aubynn hopes of becoming the next Ghana Football Association Vice President was gatecrashed after losing yesterday’s election.

The newly-elected Executive Council member performed abysmally in the election as he could not get the maximum votes to become Kurt Okraku’s deputy.

In maiden ExCo meeting where they elected the new GFA Vice President, Mark Addo emerged winner after polling 6 votes to Randy Abbey’s 4 and Tony Aubynn’s solitary vote.

After the exercise, Aubynn posted on his Facebook page: ”Lost the FA Veep Elections with grace. I know all those who voted for me. Me, myself and I ????????????????Congrats to the winner.”

Toni Aubynn further averred that the new ExCo will help the President revive Ghana football.

Toni Aubynn was last month voted onto the GFA ExCo after picking up the highest votes 14, to represent Premier League Clubs. The other Premier League representatives are Frederick Acheampong, George Amoako, Kingsley Osei Bonsu and Nana Sarfo Oduro.
