THE RECENT FAILURE OF THE GHANAIAN ECONOMY, A TRUE REFLECTION OF “CHEW AND POOR” DURING THE SCHOOL DAYS”,OF BAWUMIA, ABRAHAM BOAFO JABS

From all look of things, Bawumia is practically failing every living soul in Ghana just because of his irresponsible learning approach during his school days which I have named as ” the *chew and pour learning approach*” if Bawumia can not tell Ghanaians why our cedi is being described as a vincible and feeble currency across the world, then he must admit and confess, he chewed and poured his so called *mallam Atta market inflation calculation formula and obtained a PhD*.

I *Abraham Boafo* personally don’t know whether Bawumia is confused, frustrated or being affected by decay, so far as management of the Ghanaian economy is concern, this economic commentator just after the Npp won election and being asked to managed the economic team, his questionable PhD in economics misled him to prioritize the designing of a Google application over 5billion old currency in the expense of the uncompleted community day Senior high schools, community health centres and many other capital infrastructure started by His Excellency Former prez JM.

This same Bawumia man decided to introduced paperless system in our ports which has rendered most of the Ghanaian people unemployed, under his indiscipline leadership, most of the financial entities in Ghana are dead and gone leaving most Ghanaians unemployed and uncomfortable.

Dr. Bawumia now moved our economy to India for pharmaceutical transactions, what a laughing and funny economist! Are we as leaders really thinking about the ordinary Ghanaian citizen in that village who is struggling to survive? How will a PhD holder in economics joke with a well structured economy by his predecessors like Bawumia is doing?

Whiles former president Mahama move to secure loans in China to build schools, hospitals, inter changes, medical centres, clinics, state houses, electricity extension, and many others without a PhD in economics, Bawumia moves with a so called PhD in economics to India for pharmaceutical transactions as a vice president in a developing economy characterized with unbearable level of unemployment, hardship, depreciation of it’s currency and total poverty, and some immoral elements still goes to radios and TVs to defend this indefensible.

Bawumia promised and rattled of digitizing the economy, and also moved it from taxation to production, as a capitalist as his political traditions demands, I dare Bawumia and the entire Npp to bring to the notice of the general public the list of private firms being granted tax concession and tax holidays as a journey towards the movement of the economy from taxation to production.

The ultimate reason for the abnormal depreciation of the cedi, is the unproductive investment of the daily borrowings of the government of today, you can’t go and borrow money to pay 123 ministers, 998 presidential staffers, designed dormant internet sites, and think your currency will perform well.

A very sensitive and visionary government like that of JM borrowed monies to expand the economy, by putting up productive structures, energizing the agriculture, service and industry sectors, which has boosted the confidence of investors within and beyond to invest in the economy.

Due to the sensitive nature of the then economy under JM, the private firms were able to add value to their raw materials before it gets to the world market to attract higher prices, hence the cedi then was performing well and better than it’s current status.

Bawumia truly lacks the practical know- how of managing an economy, from the look of things I can boldly and authoritatively alleged that, Bawumia managed this economy with texts books and he must confess and call for help as soon as possible.

*I want to take this opportunity to urge students across the country to refrain from chew and poor, Ghana deserves better leaders and problem solvers in the future, my special advice goes to those secondary school students preparing to write your final exams next month, Ghana want to do away with theoretical and verbal doctors like Bawumia, so learn and understand your topics and subjects very well and deliver than chewing and pouring to come and mess up the country for us one day in the future like Bawumia is in the making*

*Teachers should also help mother Ghana by strengthening the fundamentals of the students at the elementary or basic level to become problem solvers and results oriented leaders, in order to prevent mother Ghana from coming closer to chew and poor leaders like Bawumia one day in the future*

*Thank you all*
