Old Vandals Congratulates Mr. Owusu Donkor for appointment as a member of EC Audit Committee

Old Vandals Association (OVA) Congratulates Mr. Owusu Donkor, Treasurer of the National OVA on his new appointment on the Audit committee of the Electoral Commission.

Speaking to the Deputy General Secretary of the Greater Accra Old Vandals Association Branch , Mr. Hanson expressed his excitement and urged him to continue to serve mother Ghana.

“…we were very excited when we got the news…we urge him to continue to serve mother Ghana…” Mr. Hanson expressed.

Mr. Hanson also added that there several Old Vandals making tremendous impact in society and explained that Vandals currently have charted a path to on track of the true values of vandalism.

“…evidently, Old Vandals are everywhere around the world making significant impact to society and pleasing to know that they are living by the acumen of Vandal, taking leadership positions and being the voice to the voiceless in society. “ he explained.

“…currently the younger generation have charted a great path, some of them taking leadership positions, venturing into entrepreneurship, recently one of our students was interviewed by Aljazeera, Dailymail among others who is recycling used car tyres into sustainable furniture just to mention but a few” he said.




Some of the Old Vandals shared their congratulatory messages on social media also encouraging Mr. Owusu Donkor to remain resilient and focused while using his experience to serve on the committee.

Meanwhile, the Electoral Commission (EC) inaugurated the audit committee to oversee Ghana’s electoral process. Mrs. Jean Mensah on Tuesday 5th March 2019 highlighted their roles more importantly are issues relating to Procumennt breaches and financial scandals in the past.

The audit committee is made up three members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Internal Audit Agency and two members from the Electoral Commission.
