Willian to Real Madrid?
Real Madrid are NOT interested in signing Chelsea playmaker Willian, reports claim.

The Bernabeu side are reported to have launched an opening £100million offer for the Brazil international and Thibaut Courtois.

But Spanish newspaper Marca claim Real Madrid aren’t looking to prise Willian away from Stamford Bridge.

Marca add that Real Madrid are still looking to sign goalkeeper Courtois and are close to securing his services for £31million.

The news could be a boost for Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United, who are now considered firm favourites to sign the 29-year-old.
Jamie Carragher sack claim
Jose Mourinho must win major silverware this season or he will be out of a job, according to former Liverpool and England defender turned pundit Jamie Carragher.

“He’s a winner and that’s why United got him,” Carragher said of Jose Mourinho talkSPORT. “Sometimes when I hear Untied fans moaning about the football, I think ‘what did you expect?’

“You brought him in to win. You accepted this great football was not going to happen. Mourinho always causes one or two problems off the pitch, that’s something he’s done throughout his career so again that was something you had to expect.

“It was all about winning. He’s got to do something big this season and win one of the big trophies, that will decide whether he stays or goes.”

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic
Lazio are prepared to lower their valuation of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, reports claim.

The 23-year-old has been linked with Chelsea, Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid but his astronomical £150million asking-price has prevented any serious offers.

But according to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, things could change.

The report claims Lazio are willing to do business for approximately £110million – £40m less than their original valuation.

It’s thought the reduced fee has seen PSG and Juventus show interest.
Lyon want Victor Lindelof

Lyon have made an approach for Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof, reports claim.

Lindelof, 24, arrived from Benfica in June 2017 for £30.7million but has failed to establish himself at Old Trafford.

The centre-back’s lack of first-team action has led to speculation that he could leave the Premier League with Lyon looking to snap him up.

French publication L’Equipe claim United have rejected a formal approach from Lyon for Lindelof.

L’Equipe add that Jose Mourinho could change his mind should he sign one of Toby Alderweireld, Harry Maguire or Yerry Mina.
Jose Mourinho odds-on
Manchester United are odds-on to sign Toby Alderweireld and Willian this summer.

Jose Mourinho is keen to splash the cash, however, reports have suggested Red Devils executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is reluctant to release funds.

Mourinho has revealed he wants to complete two more signings this summer, and according to the bookies, United are odds-on to sign both Alderweireld and Willian before the transfer window shuts on August 9.

Betway say Tottenham’s Alderweireld is 4/11 to join, while Willian is priced at 10/11 to head to Old Trafford.

Betway’s Alan Alger said: “With less than a fortnight until the window closes, Jose Mourinho hasn’t given up on clinching Toby Alderweireld and Willian’s signatures and the odds suggest he may just get his way.

“At odds-on prices of 4/11 and 10/11 respectively, it could be a very good end to the transfer window for the Manchester United boss, though a deal for Harry Maguire, who was backed into 10/11 last week, is now looking less likely at 7/4.”
Yerry Mina Instagram hint
This is vintage transfer window behaviour from Barcelona centre-back Yerry Mina.

The Barcelona star has dropped a major hint that he’s joining Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.

Everton were previously thought to have snapped up the Colombia international for a fee of £27million.

But his social media activity suggests otherwise.

Mina, 23, has followed Manchester United’s official club account as well as Antonio Valencia and Paul Pogba on his Instagram account.

He’s also deleted any affiliation with Barcelona on his Instagram bio.
