Man Utd news: Jose Mourinho was unhappy at Alexis Sanchez and two stars in Chelsea win

MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho was reportedly unhappy with Alexis Sanchez, Nemanja Matic and Anthony Martial during the Red Devils’ 2-1 win over Chelsea on Sunday.
Manchester United bounced back from an early Chelsea blow with Romelu Lukaku and Jesse Lingard firing them to victory.

The Red Devils, however, were far from their best with Lingard’s late winner calming an Old Trafford that, prior to the strike, had been expressing their discontent.

Lukaku and Lingard stole the headlines but the truth is no Manchester United player really stood out, with the usually-solid David De Gea at fault for Willian’s strike.

And the Manchester Evening News say Mourinho cut a frustrated figure on the touchline.

It is said he took issue with a poor free-kick from Sanchez.
The Chile international has endured a mixed start to life at the club following his arrival from Arsenal last month.

Against Chelsea, he was poor even if he did have a hand in Lukaku’s superb equaliser.

Mourinho was unhappy at Sanchez for a poor free-kick that floated over the Chelsea box and out of play.

Yet the MEN say the 29-year-old was not the only United player to incur the wrath of their manager.

Matic and Martial also made Mourinho angry during the clash.
Mourinho supposedly blasted the latter for carelessly conceding possession as Chelsea turned the screw.

Matic, meanwhile, looked out of his depth in midfield and was easily the worst United midfielder on the pitch, below Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay.

United, though, held firm to get the win.

And the Red Devils will be hoping for a repeat when they face Crystal Palace next Monday (8pm).
