Transfer News: Arsenal and Man Utd fans call for Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez deals

AN Arsenal supporter has admitted if he could take any player from any team in the top flight, then it would be Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.
Manchester United have got their season off to a flier with back to back wins over West Ham.

Arsenal, contrastingly, have toiled with the Gunners narrowly beating Leicester before slipping to a 1-0 away defeat at Stoke.

The Mirror recently interviewed 20 fans – one from every Premier League club – asking them who they would love their team to sign.

And Arsenal fan Kumail Jaffer thinks Pogba would be a huge hit at the Emirates stadium.

“I’d choose Paul Pogba,” he said.
“As an Arsenal fan, it’s hard not to like the dynamism of Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey but there’s something missing there.

“Pogba, during his wonderful start to the season, has shown all the qualities Arsenal need in their midfield; power, pace, passing, vision, finishing, and guile.”

Ironically, the Manchester United fan they interviewed – James Browning – would love the Red Devils to swoop for Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez.
“We really need a fast, direct forward player to complement Romelu Lukaku and although both Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford fit that criteria on paper, the reality is that neither can perform week in, week out over a whole season yet, and that’s just down to experience.

“Sanchez is a world-class attacking player and easily one of the best players in the Premier League.

“His ability to play either on the wing, behind the striker, or as a striker himself would be invaluable at United as Mourinho likes to switch systems depending on opponent.”

However, Sanchez is more likely to join Manchester City instead.
