Hugo Lloris: Tottenham star arrested and charged with drink driving

HUGO LLORIS has been charged with drink driving after failing a breathalyser test in the early hours of Friday morning.
The Tottenham goalkeeper was pulled over by police at 2:30am on Friday morning.

The France World Cup winner then failed a breathalyser test before being taken to Charing Cross police station.

Lloris, 31, spent around seven hours in custody before being charged and released on bail.

The Metropolitan Police said: “A man has been charged following a routine patrol stop in Gloucester Place, W1.
“Hugo Lloris, 31, of East Finchley, was charged with drink driving on Friday, 24 August.

“He has been bailed to return to Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 11 September.”



Lloris was pilled over in Gloucester Place in central London this morning.

The France international was realised on bail and he’ll return to Westminster Magistrates’ Court on September 11.
Lloris is a father of two, married to his childhood girlfriend Marine.

The goalkeeper has made over 200 Tottenham appearances, as well as reaching the 100 mark for France.

It remains unclear whether Lloris will start for Spurs at Manchester United on Monday night.

Tottenham travel to Old Trafford for their Premier League clash (8pm kick-off).
