MANCHESTER UNITED want Harry Maguire – and is this the Leicester star pictured with the club’s red shirt?
Manchester United have spent the summer pursuing a deal for Maguire, despite Leicester City’s adamance he is not for sale at any price.
The England international is their top target with deals for Toby Alderweireld, Yerry Mina and Jerome Boateng failing to pay off.
And an image seemingly showing Maguire holding the new Manchester United home shirt has now surfaced on social media.
The picture appears to show a man resembling the England powerhouse holding the club’s shirt with the transfer deadline creeping closer.
However, with no confirmation of a deal being done, only time will tell if it REALLY is the Leicester star.
Speaking today, Jose Mourinho was pessamistic about landing a defender.
The Red Devils boss said: “The market closes today. It is time for me to stop thinking about the market.
“I am not confident.

“I have to focus on the players I have and the next few matches.”
Maguire’s stock has never been higher.
And, speaking as early as this morning, Leicester boss Claude Puel was adamant he would be staying.
“I can confirm he is going to Manchester but only for a couple of hours on Friday night [for the match],” Puel said.
