Barcelona news: Liverpool star Mohamed Salah ‘happy’ to play alongside Lionel Messi

LIVERPOOL star Mohamed Salah would reportedly love to join Barcelona to play alongside Lionel Messi.
Liverpool are bracing themselves for bids for Salah this summer with Barcelona and Real Madrid both reportedly keen to sign him.

The Egypt international has set the Premier League alight ever since his summer switch from Roma, bagging a huge 37 goals across all competitions.

Real appear to be above Barcelona in the race to sign the Liverpool star with Los Blancos eager to overhaul their squad.

But Spanish website Diario Gol says Salah would jump at the chance to play at Barcelona and would be ‘happy’ to play alongside Messi and Philippe Coutinho in particular.
The duo have drawn plenty of comparisons this season.
Yet when it comes to goals, Salah now has breathing space over the Barcelona talisman.

Messi sits one behind the Liverpool No 11 after a quick-fire brace against Sevilla at the weekend.

Barcelona are likely to invest in another forward and Salah, with his goals and guile, would be a huge Nou Camp hit.

Diario Gol say the 25-year-old would jump at the chance to play by Messi’s side and also reunite with Philippe Coutinho.

But, given Barcelona’s interest in a deal for Antoine Griezmann, a deal may be difficult to pull off.

Meanwhile, BBC pundit Charlie Adam thinks Salah would not get into Barcelona or Real Madrid’s team.

“Where’s he going to go? It’s difficult for him, where does he go?” he said.

“Will he get a game at Real Madrid? Will he get a game at Barcelona?

“I don’t think he would.

“I think he will stay there.”
