Atletico Madrid Defender Released From Jail After Breaking Restraining Order Put in Place by Court

Atletico Madrid defender Lucas Hernandez has been released after being held by the Court of Domestic Abuse after he violated his conditions on a restraining order that was put in place after a fight with his partner.

The 21-year-old was forbidden from going within 500 metres of Amelia de la O.L, and was also not allowed to maintain communications with her.

As reported by AS, Hernandez went on holiday with his ex, which meant he had ignored the restraining order. He was arrested on Tuesday at Adolfo Suárez Madrid – Barajas Airport, and spent the night in a Moratalaz prison.

El Transistor reports that the pair went on holiday to the Bahamas, and a warning was triggered on a computer at passport control at Barajas as they attempted to pass through – Amelia was set free, but Hernandez was detained by officials.

The restraining was in place because the couple got into a fight in the street back in February, and both were ordered to do 31 days community service, and issued €180 fines.

They, of course, were told to stay away from each other for six months, and strangely, were also both ordered not to carry a weapon for one year and one day.
