Old Vandals Association(OVA) Volta Region donates Poly tank

Old Vandals Association Volta Region branch presented a 10,000 litre water tank to the Community Development Vocational Technical Institute at Ho on Friday 17th March,2017.
The Institute appealed for assistance from OVA VOLTA as a result of their perennial water problems over the years.
Mr. Samuel Ahiah,  the President of OVA Volta Region, mentioned that, the branch responded favourably to help curb the perennial water crises.
“We took up the challenge, levied ourselves and appealed to other individuals and organizations to help ” Mr. Ahiah said.
Mr.Samuel Ahiah, who lead the delegation of the OVA Volta Region branch, addressed the staff members of the Institute and encouraged them to continue to do their best in training the students.
The Headmistress of the Institute thanked the Old Vandals Association Volta Region branch for coming to their aid.
Meanwhile, the National Old Vandals Association (OVA) will visit and make donations to its three adopted institutions, namely; Mother Theresa School for Girls, Senya-Breku (1 April 2017), Akropong School for the Blind (25 March2017), and Mampong School for the Deaf (25 March2017).
OVA will be presenting food items, clothing and cash’ among others, to these institutions.
The National President , Mr. Isaac Nketiah Sarpong urges members to support the course.
” It is our avowed duty, as VANDALS, to stand up for our brothers and sisters who are in need of any form of assistance” he mentioned.
He added that “Altruism” is one of the attributes which defines “VANDALS”.
He therefore urge all Old Vandals to continue to live by the core values by donating generously toward a good cause.
