Our decent performance in the GPL is not by chance -Karela CEO

Chief Executive officer of karela United Elleony Amande has refuted claims that his outfits great performance in the Ghana premier league is a nine- day wonder . Karela United churned out some incredible performances in the first round of the league which saw them occupy the top spot on the league log. But the Ayinase based club has dropped to the second spot after the resumption of the second round. Many have accused them of getting massive support from State owned institutions espcially with GNPC and Ghana Gas sponsoring them which has contributed immensely to their great display in the local league. But speaking on Sports Express on Starr FM, the astute football administrator rubbish those claims insisting they have indeed put in a lot of work with on and off the pitch to get the team to it’s current peak in the ongoing Ghana premier league. “Our great display is not by sheer luck because during the truncated league we all saw where we were languishing” “At a point we we’re even flirting with relegation but when this season was about to start ,we did a lot of work on the team and the result is what everyone is witnessing now so it’s about hardwork, determination, perseverance and dedication which has kept us going all these while”he told Starr sports
