True justice awaits prosecutors of today after Dec. polls – NDC’s Chief Biney

A deputy national organizer of the largest opposition party in Ghana Chief Biney has served notice to the governing NPP that the witch-hunt and unnecessary invitation of NDC members by the police will be repeated when his party comes to power.

In a Facebook post, he said the witch-hunting are being orchestrated by President Akufo-Addo.
According to him, the very people championing such vindictive cause should be ready for same when NDC wins the upcoming general election on Dec. 7, declaring that: “No more father for all.”

“Those reporting people to the police authorities should be ready to report themselves when invited after the positive change come 2020!

“An eye for an eye” ~ Boys make wild, chief Biney posted.

“The Akufo-Addo led government ever since they took over from H.E John Dramani Mahama on January 7th, 2017 has been harassing members of NDC through unnecessary invitations to the criminal investigation department of the Ghana police service just to tame and gag them from speaking their mind. The freedom of speech is dead and buried under this government.

“Notable among personalities invited by the CID are the National Chairman Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Sammy Gyamfi the national communication officer, Kweku boahen deputy national communication officer, former deputy general secretary Koku Anyidoho among others.

“The CID in the late hours of thursday May 14, 2020 invited major retired Osahene Boakye Gyan for allegedly saying the EC’s posture and dealings towards the compilation of a new voter register is an avenue for civil war in Ghana.

“The sacking of the former EC boss was politically motivated and that arbitrary action was taken to enable the administration appoint their favourites to occupy the commission because they don’t have confidence in their performance; otherwise they wouldn’t tamper with the register; but more importantly, I don’t know how old you were in the 60s, but I’m telling you confidently that, in post-independence Africa, all crisis and civil wars had happened on the back of disputed elections and where they are going now, they are walking us into civil war and if they want it, they will get it, quote me”, he said

“What’s is unclear here is the same CID refusing to invite the deputy general secretary of the ruling NPP for saying the NPP together with it security will unleash mayhem and do worst things than they did during the ayawaso by-election. A statement which presupposes the Npp has an evil agenda and is putting their rigging tactics into action even before the December polls.”
