Kennedy Agyapong heaps praises on ‘matured’ Ablakwa and Sam George

Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong is full of praise for colleague lawmakers, Samuel Okuzeto Ablakwa and Sam Nartey George for the show of maturity in their recent political discourse.

The controversial New Patriotic Party (NPP) firebrand observed that the duo have exhibited themselves in a manner that is worthy of praise and should be an example to others in the opposite side of the political divide.

His praise was borne out of the fact that the two former government appointees now Members of Parliament (MPs) for North Tongu in the Volta Region and Ningo-Prampram in the Greater Accra Region respectively instead of making political capital out of the leaked Kan Dapaah video chose to condemn it.

“It can happen to anyone right from the pastor on the pulpit to the ordinary hawker on the streets. No one is clean…if I was clean I will not have fathered many children even though I love my kids” he said.

Mr Agyapong praised the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as a party for the manner in which it also responded to the issue observing that it placed the interest of the nation above partisan politics.

“This time round the NDC has done well. If you look at the way Sam George and Akudzeto Ablakwa have all come out to strongly condemn the action, it is commendable. What has been done to other person, could happen to any other man”, he feared.

Do not rejoice when your enemy falls: Ablakwa on Kan Dapaah’s video

Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu in the Volta Region Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has advised his colleagues not to rejoice over the fall of National Security Minister, Albert Kan Dapaah.

According to him, instead of rejoicing, there is the need for colleagues to learn great lessons from the fall of the former lawmaker whose leaked video went viral weeks ago.

Do not rejoice when your enemy (or political opponent) falls; And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles. – Proverbs 24:17 I will rather we learn useful lessons to guide our future. Wish you all a great week, my friends”. He said.
