It’s been difficult getting Sarkodie, Shatta on my songs – Paa Dogo

Legendary hiplife artiste, Paa Dogo has complained about the hell he has gone through in getting some of the top acts in Ghana to feature on his songs.

According to him, Sarkodie has been ignoring his calls ever since he mentioned he needed collaboration with him.

Paa Dogo told Sammy Flex in an interview that Sarkodie only mentions his name in his songs but there is nothing more to it and that the manager, Angel keeps giving him excuses anytime he calls.

He said he just needs a come back into the industry and needs the collaboration with the reigning artistes to announce his presence yet they disappoint and keep tossing him all about.

Dogo narrated how Angel once told him Sarkodie was performing in Canada but he went out that night and met Angel at an event in Ghana.

“He said they were performing in either Canada or America and I’ll hear from them when they return. That same evening, I went to meet Criss Waddle and saw Angel there. His excuse was that the pressure.

“It’s difficult when trying to get artistes to feature. You’ll call them and they’ll be telling you stories. It’s quite disturbing. We’re all Ghanaians,” he added.

Dogo also contacted Shatta Wale who asked him to record a song and send to him.

He said he has been waiting for Shatta Wale to add his verse for a long time now and that he even texts once in a while to remind him that he has not forgotten about the project but still the verse has not been added.

The rapper recounted that he even went to Shatta Wale’s house but his boys did not let him into the compound, saying he was not home.

Using the opportunity, he has asked that artistes who are relevant currently give himself and other artistes some form of endorsement to get them noticed.

Paa Dodo is out with a new song titled ‘My Corner’. Go check it out.
