Patapaa should show evidence or apologize over VGMA bribe claim – CharterHouse

Charterhouse Ghana, organizers of the Ghana Music Awards want Patapaa to apologize for his comments suggesting he lost the ‘Song of the Year’ award because the company took money.

“If Patapaa has an evidence of us taking money from any nominee, he should release else he should apologise to the board, academy and the general public for that comment,” George Quaye, Public Relations Officer of Charterhouse Ghana in an interview with ZionFelix.

“We will release the votes very soon so that we all see how everybody performed on the night. It is a very unfortunate statement from him.”




In an interview with JOY NEWS’, the ‘One Corner‘ act claimed he lost because the organizers took “stupid money” to hand the award to Fancy Gadam.

Ghanaian artiste, Patapaa said CharterHouse, organizers of the Ghana Music Awards taking “stupid money” is the reason he lost out on the ‘Song of the Year‘ award at this year’s edition.

The visibly angry ‘One Corner’ act said patrons at the event venue even showed their displeasure when Fancy Gadam was named as the winner of the category.
