I am ready for Jail - Kennedy Agyapong

Controversial politician and New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Mr. Kennedy Agyapong has expressed his readiness to spend time in jail for murder.

He said he will go all out to take the life of the contracted assassin who was paid to kill him but for the timely intervention of a good Samaritan who divulged the grand scheme to pollster Ben Ephson who in turn, snitched the police.

According to him, the suspect who is standing trial for attempted murder is an ex-convict who was specifically assigned a role to eliminate him from the surface of the earth, and that he (Kennedy Agyapong) was ready to bear the consequences of his action by being thrown into jail.

“Once I have known who he is, I will pay him back. He will disappear. I fear no one….once I have now seen who he is, I will kill him right in the courtroom. I will kill that neggar and go to jail. You plan to kill me? The court proceedings have even delayed.

Mr Kennedy Agyapong also said he was not agitated about the incident because he was afraid of death, but that he did not want to die on the hands of an assassin without worth, adding “but when I die, I die, that’s all?”

MyNewsGh.com had earlier reported that Mr. Kennedy Agyapong had vowed to kill the man in cold blood, but for the intervention of the police and some people he respected.

“My informant is my savior and I hold him in high esteem because he saved my life. The same style they used in killing J.B that was what they intended to use in finishing me”, he revealed on Oman Fm’s Boiling Point.

According to him, the intervention of Mohammed Alhassan then Inspector General of Police helped matters as released convicts were hired by some politicians to kill him for reasons to date he is yet to be told.

The Assin Central lawmaker promised to reward the informant who leaked the information leading to police engaging in a shootout with the suspects at an undisclosed location where three of them died as a result.
