Ebony’s ‘bodyguard’ to be buried on March 23

The family of the late Lance Corporal who died in the gory accident with dancehall artiste, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng alias Ebony Reigns have set the burial date for Friday, March 23, 2018.

According to the family of the late Francis Atsu Vondee the burial service will be held at Mafi Adidome in the Volta Region where he hails from.

Francis Vondee met his untimely death on Thursday February 8, 2018 together with Ebony and Franky Kuri when the Jeep they were traveling in, slammed into an oncoming ‘VIP’ bus on the Kumasi–Sunyani road.




There were reports that his body had been detained to serve a sentence after a court-martial after his demise, but the Ghana Armed Forces refuted these reports, claiming they were inaccurate and malicious speculations.

So far, the families of the deceased have all set burial dates.

First to be buried is Franklina Yaa Nkansah (Franky Kuri). Her funeral and final burial rites come off on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the t the Prince of Peace Catholic Church at Kwashieman and she will be buried at Achimota.

Two weeks later, on March 17, 2018, Ebony Reigns will also be put to rest in Accra at a yet to be named venue.

Franky Kuri completed Holy Child School in Cape Coast in 2008. She relocated to America but she returned to Ghana last year.
