Video: I pity Shatta Wale - Mark Okraku-Mantey

CEO of Slip Entertainment Mark Okraku-Mantey says he has nothing against controversial musician Shatta Wale but rather pities him.

Mr Okraku-Mantey in a ‘One-on-One’ interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM noted that he pities the singer because he may not know the implications of what he is doing.

Mr Okraku-Mantey was being interviewed on the show about his life as an artiste manager.

The interim president of the Creative Arts Council’s comments follow series of attacks from Shatta Wale including videos posted on social media where he accused Mr Okraku-Mantey of stealing his money.

However, Mr Okraku-Mantey, says he is not perturbed about the accusations from the ‘Kakai’ hitmaker.

He noted that even though Shatta Wale might come across as an aggressive character, he [Okraku-Mantey] believes that the singer only does that to maintain his brand as a dancehall act.

“I don’t have anything against Shatta Wale I only pity him,” he said and stressed that he did not deem it necessary to reply Shatta Wale.

Mark Okraku-Mantey further explained that he would have responded if these abusive words came from M.anifest, Sarkodie or Obrafour.

“I would have responded if it were Sarkodie, M.anifest or Obrafour. I would have responded because I know it is not of their making. I would have called Sarkodie to find out if everything is alright,” he told Andy Dosty.
