According to her, Brother Sammy stole her songs ‘Yensom Obiaa’ and ‘Mitiho a 3s3 s3 mida wu asi’.

In an interview on Accra-based Accra FM, the gospel icon said “I have been quiet about the issue because I thought we are all Christians so he would come for us to solve it amicably but from the look of things, he is not ready to do that. I spent a lot on those songs so it is wrong to use them without paying anything to me. What he did is thievery.”

She indicated that it is imperative to fulfill all legal terms before a colleague musician uses the property of his/her fellow colleague’s work.

“Before you use one’s property, you need to sit with the person and agree on certain terms. I’ve not sued him because I was waiting for him to call and ask how to do the right thing but as at now, he’s done nothing like that. I’m still waiting for him to call”.

She said:”I called him and he agreed to meet me but he hasn’t picked my calls again. His producer also promised to meet me and solve the issue but he’s also not picking my calls again”.
