Criss Waddle reveals how Yvonne Okoro reacted when she heard his letter to Yvonne Okoro song

AMG Business CEO Criss Waddle in a latest interview has disclosed people on social media disrespected Yvonne Okoro after he spoke about their friendship on radio.

The Biegya hitmaker talking on Hitz FM talked about his label, his love life and music.

Here is some highlights from the interview!

Interviewer: What’s the ‘Letter To YO’ song about?

Criss Waddle: It was about my friendship with Yvonne. There were so many disrespectful posts here and there directed towards her and sometimes I wish I could elaborate on it a lot but I can’t. I dont want to do it. One thing about this industry is that when something happens and you the person they are talking about talks about the issue then people blow it out of proportion.

Interviewer: So what is going on now between you two? And open your eyes while you talk…

Criss Waddle: No, when it come to Yvonne Okoro I have to close my eyes when I talk about her because she is too adorable. Like I said, we were friends and that’s about it. People don’t just like seeing a guy and girl being friends in Africa, they will blow things out of proportion for nothing. We were friends and that’s all.

Interviewer: If you were just friends, why do you keep mentioning her name in your music?

Criss Waddle: With me and Sarkodie, it was Sarkodie who mentioned her name and not me. But how many times have I mentioned her name in my songs. I only mentioned her name twice. Even in Letter to Yvonne Okoro I’m not sure I mentioned her name in it if not for the title.

Interviewer: How often do you talk to each other?

Criss Waddle: I haven’t spoken to Yvonne in a while. I don’t remember the last time we spoke because she is busy and I’m also busy.

Interviewer: Did you send the song to her?

Criss Waddle: Yes I did and she said it was a nice song and that was about it. That was before I did the video and we haven’t really spoken after that. I mean when we do have the time we do speak. But she might have seen the video by now on TV or online.
