The demonstration is christened, ‘aagbe wↄ’, translated to mean, ‘they’re killing us’.

The said they want the government to take urgent steps to ensure that citizens are safe.

The demonstration, which is being convened by the National Chairman of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Bernard Mornah comes after some armed uniformed personnel attacked citizens at a polling station during last Thursday’s by-election in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.

Bernard Mornah in a Citi News interview said they have obtained all the necessary clearance from the police to stage a peaceful demonstration.

“I welcome the initiative of the Inter-Party Coalition for National Sovereignty and I encourage all members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to participate in tomorrow’s demonstration.”
