Mo Salah: The real reason Liverpool star deleted social media accounts… now he’s BACK

MO SALAH is back on social media and the reason behind his disappearance has now been revealed.
The Liverpool star posted a cryptic tweet this week which read: “2019 Resolution: Time to get in touch, for real.”

Salah then deleted his Twitter account before removing Facebook and Instagram shortly after.

But the frontman is now back – and it appears all to be a part of a stunt with courier company DHL.
DHL Express Egypt tweeted earlier this week: “We’ve reached Mo Salah and we can connect you to him.”

Salah then returned today where he posted a picture of himself opening a DHL box.

And it appears it’s all part of a company marketing scheme to connect fans from across the Middle East and North Africa region as part of their global 50-year anniversary celebrations.

Supporters will be able to send gifts and letters for Salah after submitting photos of their gifts through a dedicated website. They are then delivered directly to him.

Some fans had speculated Salah deleted the accounts to focus on his football, lauding him for his “winners mentality”.

“Many people suggesting this could be to block things out for the title run in,” tweeted @LFCTransferRoom “Sounds like a winners mentality from Mo.”

Liverpool lead the Premier League by four points and the squad have taken a trip to Dubai for a warm-weather training camp during the break until their next game, at home to Leicester on Wednesday, January 30.

Other fans speculated that Salah had deleted his social accounts to avoid recent criticism for alleged diving.

“More like can’t handle all the diving accusations sent to him on a hourly basis,” tweeted @TAKTIKT0E. “4 days after the Palace game, coincidentally.”
