Tiger Eye journalist shot dead at Madina

An undercover journalist working with Tiger Eye PI has been shot dead at Madina in Accra.

Ahmed Husein, who worked closely with with ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, was shot by gunmen on a motorbike Wednesday night while in his car driving home. He was reportedly shot three times, twice in the chest and another in the neck.

Anas has confirmed the development on his Facebook wall.

“Sad news, but we shall not be silenced. Rest in peace, Ahmed,” Anas wrote.

The picture of the Tiger Eye journalist was brandished on TV by member of parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong during the airing of his anti-Anas documentary ‘who watches the watchman’ and called on the public to attack him as he was ready to face the consequences.
