ALL THAT ASSIN PEOPLE KNOW IS “THANK YOU! THANK YOU SHAME ON THEM”…..HON. KENNEDY OHENE AGYAPONG

The outspoken New Patriotic Party (NPP) member of Parliament (MP) for Assin central constituency, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has vociferously displayed his disappointment about the behavior of the people of Assin.

According to the fullthroated MP, what he has done for the people of Assin is countless, but the Assin people pretend to see nothing good about his efforts to lift Assin to its highest level, His people are not helping by not recognizing his efforts that much.

The plain spoken MP at a durbar at Gomoa Afransi, stated it emphatically that he donated only 300 bags of cement (in Ken’s estimation, 10, 000.00gh, the amount of money involved is not all that much) and few other supports to Gomoa Afransi township During this year’s festival, but to Hon Ken, this small amount he gave them was highly recognised and appreciated to the extent that, a newly built multi purpose Community center has been named after Hon. Ken. The bold Hon. Ken, nearly wept when the chief, Nana Ogyeedom and his people honoured the Maverick MP Hon Ken this way.

Presenting his speech, the outspoken member of Parliament HON. Ken said the people of Assin are very ungrateful and for that matter, he’s disappointment in them, he said and I quote *”all that Assin people know is Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!! Shame on you, I don’t need anything from you people, even if they named anything after me, I’ll not accept it”*

In conclusion, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong disclosed that, he was able to distribute;

• physical Cash 225, 000.00 gh.
• 200 bags of rice.
• 20 motorbikes.
• 498 pieces of clothes.
• oil etc. To Assin people this festive season,
But all they know is Thank you, thank you. They think its normal to do such things. In fact, not much has been done to honour me by my own people.
