Only foolish prophets will prophesy about death of people – Pastor

The General Overseer of Royal Believers Ministry Pastor Daniel Y. Donkor has described doomsday prophets prophesying the death of people as fools.

Speaking on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM with host Kwabena Agyapong, the man of God said, such doomsday prophets lacks wisdom and are only engaging in acts that does not correspond with the prophetic ministry.

In mincing no words he said, “this is foolishness. I do not want to polish what I am saying because it is foolishness.’’

To him, a wise man of God should rather use his pulpit to win souls for God instead of prophesying about the death of prominent people.

Using the biblical prophets he said, they move or go to the people involved and speak to them as directed by God but today, we have a list of prophecies by these foolish prophets who even go ahead to advertise them on social media so people will see them as powerful prophets. They only prophesy about prominent people and not people who are facing challenges. This is nonsense and foolish. 31st Night is not a night of telling people nonsense but a moment to preach salvation. I heard someone saying Nana Addo will win then another also saying Mahama will win; this is nonsense in the kingdom of God.’’

He slammed prophets who pride themselves with so called fulfillment of their prophecies especially when people die.

He further took his gun on church members and cautioned them against doomsday prophets and asked them to seek God’s kingdom and stop feeding on their nonsense.

A change of date he posited does not mean a change of destiny or does it mean when we move into a new year, you are going to witness something good when you fail to work hard.

The annual ritual of attending 31st Night services he said is to preach salvation and not for ‘’foolish prophets’’ to be prophesying about the death of people.
