“WE CAN’T STOP BORROWING”, BAWUMIA MUST APOLOGISE FOR DECEIVING AND MISLEADING THE GHANAIAN PEOPLE

It was very unfortunate for the president of the republic of Ghana to shamefully admit borrowing is not recklessness and corruption as he considered it to be then in opposition.

The hypocritical and parasitical Nana Addo lead government must be serious and steer the affairs the country according to the utterances made by them those days in opposition.

During the 2016 electioneering year of our dear country Mother Ghana, the former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Ghana who doubled as the then running mate to the then presidential candidate on the ticket of the NPP Nana Addo Dunkwa Akuffu Addo, made it known to the ordinary Ghanaian that, per his experience as a former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Ghana, there is enough resources in this country that can give us enough money to develop the nation to live self reliantly or without borrowing, and also went further to describe borrowing under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration as incompetence and reckless management of our wealthy resources as a country.

The then running mate who doubled as a deputy former governor of the Central Bank of Ghana brainwashed the Ghanaian people to vote for the NPP claiming they will come and manage the resources of the country well, protect the public purse, exit IMF policies and finally stop borrowing as a country, the Ghanaian people reposed that confidence in him by the above assertions and voted massively for the NPP to see the exiting of Ghana from the IMF policies, to see the stopping of Ghana from borrowing, to see the public purse being protected beyond measurement.

It was very very unfortunate and upsetting to hear the boss of this same former deputy governor of the Central Bank saying nothing can stop them from borrowing.



Let me quickly ask Bawumia this elementary questions :

Where are the claimed abundant resources that can sustain Ghana and prevent her from borrowing as said then in opposition and now they can not stop borrowing?

If borrowing by the previous administration to expand the economy was as the result of recklessness and incompetency, borrowing now to feed 111 and 998 stomachs respectively should be described as what?

Has he lost the experience as a former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Ghana so soon?

Can we know the whereabout of the abundant wealthy resources own by Ghana as claimed then in opposition and now nothing can stop them from borrowing?

Hope Bawumia is aware his boss said they can’t stop borrowing?

Will Bawumia agree with me that, he misled his boss the president of the republic and the entire new patriotic party then in opposition about his experiences, competencies and capabilities?

Bawumia must stop taking Ghanaians for granted, he is not the only educated person in this nation for God’s sake.

If Nana Addo today is hypocritically accepting borrowing to be necessary but not recklessness as he considered it to be those days in opposition, then the former president of the republic of Ghana His excellency John Dramani Mahama once again has been vindicated.

Nana Addo should know that, if nothing can stop government from borrowing, nothing can also stop the taxpayer from knowing the uses of the borrowed money, hence I put it to him to see to the quick passage of the right to information bill into a law.

And again, nothing must stop government from showing us tangible or physical assets acquired from the borrowed money to at least express value for money unless otherwise, we are under an indirect autocratic leadership.

Before the curtains will be pulled down, I will like to humbly call on Bawumia to also be humble and come out to apologize for misleading the Ghanaian people during 2016 electioneering year that, Mother Ghana has enough wealthy resources and she will not borrow under the leadership of the Nana Addo Dunkwa lead Npp government, which the Nana Addo himself sincerely admitted to be impossible.

The vice president must render unqualified apology for his integrity to be protected, if not he is loosing it gradually.
