Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho angry at Ed Woodward question – ‘I am not answering to you’

MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho gave a tetchy response to a question about Ed Woodward at his press conference this afternoon.
Mourinho was asked when he had last spoke to the Manchester United executive vice-chairman at a press conference this afternoon.

But Mourinho refused to reveal when amid mounting fears that he could be sacked this week.

“That is a private matter, I am not asking you,” he fumed. “It is a private matter, I am not going to answer to you.”

Mourinho was also quizzed whether he thought his job was on the line to which he replied: “No, I don’t think.”
With the squad reeling from the 3-1 loss at West Ham on Saturday, attention turned to the Champions League clash with Valencia on Wednesday.

But Mourinho still found time to hit out at some of his United players, claiming: “I think that some care more than others.” When asked if he would name who, Mourinho simply replied: “No.”

United’s first open training session since Paul Pogba’s frosty exchange with Mourinho had earlier passed without incident.

Today was United’s first open training session since the one last week that made headlines across the world when Pogba and Mourinho were filmed having a tense conversation.
But there were seemingly no such issues in the 15 minutes open to the media at the Aon Training Complex this time.

France World Cup winner Pogba, hauled off in the second half on Saturday, entered the training pitch with goalkeeper Sergio Romero and warmly greeted Mourinho’s coaching staff, having given Nemanja Matic a hug.

There were 18 broadcasters filming the training session at Carrington, where Jesse Lingard, Marcos Rojo, Ander Herrera and Ashley Young were absent.
