CONGRATULATIONS, H.E. JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA!!

The Truth Defence Network (TDN) congratulates his excellency John Dramani Mahama, former President of the republic of Ghana for his decision to return to run for president of this country. He has demonstrated beyond reasonable doubt that he has the people of Ghana at heart.

Contrary to what others may think, the emergence of the former President brings to the table a highly rich calibre of person for the NDC and Ghanaians for that matter to choose. For the first time in the history of Ghana, we will have candidates of the two major political parties who have both been president of Ghana.

We in the TDN believe the return of the former President of the country presents a more experienced candidate who posits the 2020 elections to be more competitive. Experience they say is the best teacher, having been out of government for almost two years and going forward, he has conducted and continue to conduct numerous self assessment and self reflection to identify his strength and weaknesses, what was done well and what needs to be improved.

His excellency equally comes at a time where the whole country feel betrayed by the current government ranging from corruption, high cost of living, incompetence and mismanagement of the country. This current government is doing exactly the opposite of what they preached in opposition.

The come back of John Mahama is a moment of truth in the political history of this country. We congratulate him and urge him not relent on his efforts in seeking to give back to the country.

We have no doubt in our minds that his second coming will be a renewed strength which will give a more dynamic leadership to this country. We wish him all the best and hope to see Ghana made better when elected.

Signed……….
