Android users can now get YouTube’s dark mode

In March, YouTube revealed that it was releasing a dark mode for its mobile apps, starting with its iOS version.

Now, Android users are beginning to get the feature on their apps.

YouTube added a dark mode to its desktop site last year, and the company says that it became one of the most requested features for its apps.

9to5Google reports that the feature began rolling out yesterday, notifying users with a prompt.
It also says that it can be turned on and off in the app’s settings.
