he Brazil star feels Ronaldo’s switch to Turin will change the game over in Italy
Neymar says Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus will rekindle his childhood feelings towards Italian football.
The Portuguese star completed his £88million move to Turin on Monday , bringing his nine-year spell at Real Madrid to a close.
The 33-year-old scored a remarkable 450 goals in 438 appearances for Madrid, lifting the Champions League trophy four times.
And Paris-Saint Germain star Neymar – who came up against Ronaldo many times in El Clasico battles when he was at Barcelona – is full of praise for a former rival he says will change the game in Italy.
“I think Cristiano Ronaldo will change Italian football,” he told Fox Sports in Sao Paulo, where he also played down speculation that he was joining Real Madrid .
“It will again be the Italian football that I watched when I was a child because Cristiano Ronaldo is a great player.
“I think it is a difficult decision for him so I wish him good luck but not against Paris.”
